There will be multiple leadership and skills development workshops at SGC that all delegates will attend. However, some of the time will be spent in smaller groups discussing specific ideas or projects.

Applicants are not expected to have extensive background knowledge in the project topics, but should be interested in taking an active role in the development and leadership of the topic.

Prior to SGC, delegates will interact with each other online via web forums (discussion boards). These forums will be moderated by staff members to help keep keep discussion on-topic and moving forward. Additional resources may be added to allow delegates to collaborate online. The goal is to have most of the background information discussed before reaching Valencia.
