138 days until SGC

Project Topics

SGAC continually hosts several projects and SGC is the meeting of the most active members of these projects to work in person for three intense days.

Each year, proposals are submitted to SGAC by young people, professional organizations, and other groups. Through a selection process examining the feasibility and importance of each project, along with how it supports the goals of SGAC, projects are selected. All year, young people from around the world work on these projects. Projects to be presented at SGC are selected in May by the Space Generation Advisory Council. At SGC, they continue to work on these projects and gather input and advice from the guest experts who join the congress to move the projects forward. The projects then continue on until completed and are some times featured at SGC for multiple years.

If you would like to start a new project with the support of SGAC, please Contact us.

The results of these projects will be presented at the IAC following the Space Generation Congress as well as to our supporting organisations, the United Nations Office of Outer Space Affairs and Committee on Peaceful Uses of Outer Space, and other key events. Each project has its own specific outcome. These range from public outreach events, contests to promote interest in space, policy contributions, and more.
